I've just formatted my sister's presario c700 with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I didn't know how to access the webcam. In WinXP, you just double-click the webcam at My Computer. You can use the webcam without any driver and without any 3rd party software. Do you know how to access webcam in Win7 without installing anything? I've googled it and most of the result shows that they have to install driver blah blah blah... but i know that the webcam is ready and doesn't 3rd party driver. Can you help me?
Try Control Panel>Scanners and Cameras.. at least in XP that seemed to be a viable shortcut. older OS, I know, but might be configured simularly in Win7.. good luck
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Yes it appeared in 'device manager' and 'printer and devices'. The only thing is I dont know how to access it. When i double click at the webcam icon, it goes to webcam properties.
Ahmad, it might just be that no one has the answer for you and not that they are ignoring you. Try "Googling" your problem and see what is out there on the web. I often find what I need for my computer issues with the help of Google.
cant find it. Googled everywhere. I went to the HP website and they dont provide driver for Windows 7 on older computers. It's okay. Maybe i'll find is soon.

It's embedded on a notebook. In WinXP, I use to double-click on the icon on My Computer which goes straight to the webcam. Why dont it appeared in Win7. It does appeared in devices.
