Hello all... I'm one of the drive-bys who doesn't have talent in photography but appreciates it nonetheless. Since I don't post, I have never communicated with any of you or even commented on the many fine photos. Well better late than never :-)
Caedes is an every-day stop for me and I use many of your photos on my desktop with regularity. But even the photos I don't select for the desktop never cease to amaze me ... so many styles, compositions, techniques that results in the finest collection of beautiful work that I know of. And judging from the comments I occasionally read, a community of very nice people from all corners of the globe.

I appreciate the opportunity to visit here and appreciate all the really wonderful work of so many talented people, so thank you all for that.

Anthony, I think you should post some of your work and see where it goes. This, as you noted, is a great community and it is mixed with professionals and amateurs. You will be greatly impressed with the help and advice you will get from everyone.

Hi Anthony, thanks so very much for taking time to tell the artists how much you appreciate their work. I agree with the above comment, please post something....you will never know until you do. Feedback is a good thing. We are glad you are enjoying the site...pull up a chair and stay awhile...the door is always open and the coffee/tea always on :o)

Take the creative leap of faith and ... post.

Lots of genres and mediums to explore outside that of photography. (Fractals, for example.)

+purmusic, I stand corrected on my 'photography' comment.... I really did mean all of the art here, and I do enjoy fractals on my desktop from time to time!

Ok... Anthony... you have heard from some of the artists... now you will hear from a non-artist! Take their advice. Post. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I began posting here a couple... a few years ago as my way to say thank-you for the works that were made available... not only here but elsewhere as well!... Caedes made it easy for me to do... other sites seemed to discourage posts! And the beauty of it is that you will receive some 'criticism/direction' so you can improve in whatever you are doing. Try the ideas you like and make the ones that work for you... yours! :o)

Thanks for the nice welcome. I also appreciate the encouragement to post some photos and to be honest, have never thought of doing so as I consider myself more of a 'picture-taker" :-) than a photographer. I don't take many these days but do have some shots and some photo-shop enhancements from when I used to play around with it. I got Corel PSP pro photo recently and plan to learn it soon as I get the time... Maybe then I will post a few~!
