Apps for iPhone/Pod Touch users

Been trying a few useful little apps over the weekend that work very well – the first is PhotoCaddy. It’s basically a reference tool for SLR users (or premium compacts) that provides a great deal of technical tips and settings for just about every conceivable subject matter and situation. Its very easy to navigate and clearly written. The second is Gorillacam which is a free app that adds lots of features to the iPhones camera including image stabilisation and last one being TrueHDR which easily lets you take high dynamic range shots with the camera also. (Useful as there is no flash so its not a great performer normally in low light)

Nikon have also got in on the act with an App like the Photo Caddy called Learn and Explore which, unusually for Nikon, is completely free but sadly more common, riddled with bugs if disgruntled users on the App store are to be believed :-)
