I just now noticed there is something new by our postings...it says "status" and then it will have a word, such as 'active' I am wondering when this happened. I realize what active means, but could someone show me the thread about this plz? Thanx.

Verena, *caedes is in the process of making some coding changes to the site..behind the scenes work. There is currently no thread on this topic. If you have questions, post them here and we will answer them as more is known!

From what I understand, the status won't really effect anyone. It's just a way for Geri to manage things behind the scenes.

My Favorites gallery is empty. What happened to the pictures?

Thanks for the note about that. The favorites galleries are now working.

I was unable to view favorites as well, but I see that has been remedied now. However, I am unable to view any "Contest Entries", including the ones for the current contest. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am very seriously wondering about the opposite to 'active' status - is it only passive or simply dead.
This is hopefufully expressing my general attitude to the 'democratic transformations' going on here on Caedes for some time.
If needed, please contact me directly via e-mail or PM.
And I still hope somebody has got brains left enough here to ask for help in such desperate case as it is now.

There is nothing insidious about this change. It is just a modification in the behind-the-scenes management of images. The actual display of the "status" on an image is only a temporary measure.

As for the "democratic" nature of the change... I don't recall having a vote on it.
