I have seen a couple of photographers selling iPad apps that link to their photography. Would it be in the interest of Caedes to put together an app that linked to this site that allowed access to the permanent galleries for browsing and downloading? It might even generate some new contributors. I have no idea what is involved in such a venture but I am sure it is not beyond anyone who can put this site together.

Although I'm sure people could easily use a browser to browse and get the photos, I think that would be a pretty good idea, an app would make for a much smoother navigation.
As for what would be required to get it done (beside a will to do it and some free time) would be a programmer that knows a bit about objective C (or one that is willing to learn it) and the permission and collaboration of the caedes developers.
This being said I'm a senior student at the Faculty of Computer Science of Iasi and I'd be willing to spend some of my free time learning and developing an app for caedes.
Disadvantages of picking me for this project:
- I wont be able to start working on it for a month or so (gotta finish my graduation project and present it);
- I've never done an IPad/Iphone app but I'm willing and able to learn;
- I haven't got an Ipad and I'll probably need someone that has one to test it (I'm sure the iphone SDK does have some features for this but an actual system would be desired for alpha testing at least);
- Development will go as fast as much free time I'll have.
Advantages:
- I'm cheap (will work for free);
- I might get a friend to join me on this endeavor;
