Big bunch of images just went up on "New," including mine and Cornelius's. My thanks to whomever.

This happens when images are awaiting approval by the mods. Your friends will get notifications of the new image and will be able to comment on it, but it won't be visible until a mod has approved it. You don't need to upload it again, just be patient.
It might take some time (depending on time of upload, timezone of mods etc.), but a mod will get to it eventually.
