Images placed in the wrong collection... A few days ago I placed a tribute to Verena into the 'Your Community->Verena' collection (it showed in my Caedes Control as being in 'new images->Abstract->Fractal') which I then deleted! I later posted an improved Verena tribute image into 'Your Community->Verena' collection (it showed as being where it should be) but when I got to see the image it was&is in the 'new images->Abstract->Fractal' collection. I doubt any mod would have moved it so I figure there is a bug somewhere! It could be related to the NEW Your Community->Verena addition but it just may not be. I figured I had better post this here since I had already mentioned this elsewhere! :o)

This happens to me if I edit the text of a picture prior to moderation. Just edit it again and change the gallery. But it is something you have to watch.

Chris... thanks. I am now totally aware of this bug but Geri should become aware of this as it must be an annoyance for all the moderators and Geri himself. The default collection appears to be the first in the list rather than the same collection into which the image was originally posted. Tootles had mentioned this problem elsewhere. :o)
Let's give Geri some time to decide his course of action!

Yes, but you can still change the gallery of an accepted picture at any time. I think you have always been able to do this, and since the artist selects the gallery in the first place I do not see an issue with this and I don't think it is a bug.

I chose the right category when I posted my own image, and didn't realize it had changed when I went in to edit it. That's the thing that trips you up... not realizing that there has been a change to something you have already set. If you are assuming it has gone into that category, you might not even notice yourself that it has gone wrong. I remembered someone remarking a while back that there were a lot of miscategorizations, and I thought "that might explain some of them."

When you (or a mod) edits an image the "Gallery" always defaults to the first in the list ("Abstract->Fractal"). It has always been this way and I have been tripped up by it a few times in the past... it would be nice if it defaulted to the current gallery instead but I don't know how straight forward that would be...
