Just a quick note, there has been a bit of spam on the site of late and a few members have sent complaints as we would expect them too, however the site now automatically notifies us of spammers so it isn't really necessary any more. I just wanted to let you know so you don't spend unnecessary time sending them. Thanks.

There have been an awful lot of late.

Based on the posts I've seen lately, a lot seem to be coming from the same source (ie searching for nude pic of xyz celeb). Any chance of zeroing in on this sender and blocking them (it)?

It is not automated Lyn. It sends me an automated alert, I still have to manually ban the spammer. In effect it is the same as a member sending a complaint. When I logged in the alerts were there as well as your complaints, I always process the alerts first and then just remove the complaints as they are alerting me to the same spammer I have just banned.

I should probably also mention that it takes a while after banning for the spam to disappear from the site.
