Something funny I've noticed as of late... I've seen, throughout the time that I've been making fractals, that the popularity of a particular fractal can vary greatly from any other fractal which I see as equally good. Case in point: Some of my fractals, like Ghostly Auras or Trippy Spiral get huge amounts of hits, while fractals like Dueling Fire Caterpillars and Blind Sight get far, far fewer hits, despite the fact that I like them just as much if not more. So the question that I pose to the site is this: What do all of you want in a fractal? If I know this, I can make them to better suit your preferences, as well as all other fractal artists on the site can. Because regardless of what I personally like, I'd rather make the lovely members of this site happy. So please, any input at all would be appreciated. Colors, designs, patterns, transformations, whatever.

I just looked at your images as above.. i cant see what the problem is.. yes ghostly and trippy are in the 90's but the other 2 are 87 that is a really good index too.. so i would just keep doing what your doing.... you cant please everyone.. some like dark colours.. some light.. some like abstract type.. some like detail.. Personally.. i dont care who likes what.. you are the artist.. you have your own style and technique... a lot of fractal artists have basically the same styles... its up to the artist to expand on it... experiment... thats what i have been doing... i experiment with different programs.. sometimes i use only one.. sometimes i manipulate various images from different fractal programs.. I like to try and make my work different.. sometimes it works.. and gets good response.. other times it doesnt.. and i learn from that... art is an individual idea, style, creativity and imagination.. if you dont have your own "thing"... art would be pretty boring with everyone doing the same..... and most of all... if you enjoy what you do.. it will show in your work... so have fun.. and do your own thing.....
