metamorphosis

images that look like something else, anthropomorphism if you will, but not just a knot in a tree that looks like a face, anything.. flowers that may look like birds, a frame of a string of pearls that looks like the moon. .

only requirements would be no mods to the pics other than enhancement for clarity, etc.

Your definition doesn't sound quite like metamorphosis, you didn't say anything about change. There must be a word for something that looks like something else as you described, but I can't think what it could be ...

I like metamorphosis as a contest topic, but it appears to be outnumbered.

glad you like the topic. one day perhaps, if geometrics wins.

I didn't literally write change, but I did mean to imply an inherent change, so you rightfully pointed out. Inherent change in metamorphosis that is. the concept requires change. a change into something else-- to be philosophical

I think the best contest topics should be open to interpretation anyway (although sometimes people don't seem to be able to get their heads around that)
