I just noticed there's no C-Index on the image pages for my last several images. It is visible in the Control Panel. And my older images show it, and other artists' recent ones as well. ???
I have the same thing. They seem to stay for a week then remove themselves. If you take them out early the image does not seem to get an index on the image page. Just leave them there collecting votes.
"You can now vote before or after you upload (previously you had to vote before), and the credit that you get for voting lasts longer now (7 days versus 24 hours previously)."
So..
Upload an image, vote ... image will stay in the Voting Booth for seven days and then, be removed. (No need to remove the image(s) yourselves.)
I put them back in the VB and the C-Index is showing as before. It doesn't seem to have restarted the process, the only thing that seems to be affected is the display.
I removed them when they had enough votes so I could get more votes on other images. Oh well ...
Previous thread and *caedes response regarding same HERE
Apparently it is a glitch and is being looked into. My understanding of the response was that the index should appear regardless but maybe I misunderstood. I did the same as you Hannah and the 'old' number stayed when I put an image back int the VB as an experiment, so I think it is not set to nil as mentioned above. Seems pointless leaving an image in the VB if it has heaps of votes as sometimes happens, and unfair if the index is nullified by removing if it already had the required number of votes.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
