I was just in the Voting Booth, voting, when I got the following message:
" Error There are no images to vote on."
Have I seen and voted on all the possible pictures, is there maintenance being performed and VB is simply not available, is there something else afoot?
Yes, it has happened serveral times now during the last serveral days. I do clear out my cookies, etc, each time I close my browser.
Yesterday took about three visits to eventually vote on 40. I would vote for awhile and then it would stop with the error message mentioned above. I would give it some time, and that seemed like what it needed. I would vote some more and then get the message. I have had it once today, also.
I read the above comments and see them as further validation of my long-time (25 years) choice in computers. I just ran through 21 images in the voting booth myself and did not experience the problem you're describing. In fact, I never have. I run Macs. I do not think the problem lies entirely with the site.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I'll bet it's because their favorite color is smoked salmon, they installed the wrong faucet on their computer keyboard, and they believe Royal William chose Commoner Kate because the British royals are tired of bringing forth kids with two left ears. Or... it could be just about anything. Yeah. That's probably it. Anything.

It has not happened to me - there are always enough for me to vote on. Anyway, what I do not understand is if there are "no images to vote on" for some people, why are images getting bumped out of the VB after their week and receiving only 13 votes? 13 votes do not give a very good indication. My next image due for removal (posted on 26/4) has just 9 votes. When some of these include 'wasted' Z votes it becomes even less useful.
Is it because I am not voting enough myself? I vote most days and always when I have uploaded an image. Often the maximum 40, sometimes fewer, depending on time. I do though expect more than 9 votes on an image in return.
I guess the folk experiencing lack of images may be those who vote a lot and they have temporarily voted on all available.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . I got the message below meanwhile several times, even after I had cleaned my computer (Windows 7) in several ways with programs like ccleaner, advanced system care, and so on. Have this phenomenon on my other computer and on the lap top computer of my wife as well. The last time about two minutes ago. ------ Error There are no images to vote on. ------ As soon as a/the moderator has approved new images, I have entrance to the VB again, but the number of images I can vote on is far less than the number of the aprroved images, knowing that not every new image will go through the VB.
