Here is a great site worth investigating, Gael;

snapsort.com

"snapsort | compares the latest digital cameras and gives recommendations"

Particularly once 'you've' narrowed down your purchase considerations.

Can perform comparisons of makes and models. Pros and cons are given, along with recommendations.

Sort by categories; 'entry level DSLRs', for example ... or price range.

And and..

Good good.. stuff. :o)

I am going to guess that you are looking for an 'all purpose' camera?

Which might lead to some recommendations on the lens considerations.

(/\ Judging from the image in your galleries.)

Feel free to add more stuff here in your thread as to the 'whats' you have in mind. Helps narrow down things some.

And above all else, I think it is imperative to get the camera in your hands for a test drive. Feel, comfort, etc.. heading that list of concerns.

" get the camera in your hands for a test drive"

yes, all purposes, but i especially like landscapes, i m gonna return to the france/switzerland locations(some differents places with them) so i d like a good camera to make those(landscapes)
which cameras do you have?

Test drive.

Go to a camera store that has the make and model you want to take a look at.. and look at it, hold it ... take a few shots with it.

Now then..

Canon EOS 550D vs Nikon D90

Pierre; aka ppigeon has the Nikon D90. Or, did.

Take a look at personal galleries.

The other that fits your budget?

Canon EOS 550D vs Nikon D3000

One more site for a review ... Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i Review - Steve's Digicams Review

Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i = canon 550 D right?

compared to the nikonS it seems better right?
very nice photos from pierre, but i think it s not entirely due to the camera at all, lol(but also/mainly due to pierrre and his skill)

"Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i = canon 550 D" ... yes.

Canon EOS 550D vs Nikon D90 ... "Too close to call! Snapsort considers these cameras too competitive to make a clear recommendation."

Canon EOS 550D vs Nikon D3000 ... "Snapsort recommends the Canon EOS 550D."

/\ Look at.. "Reasons to consider" on the above linked pages. Pluses/minuses ... pros/cons for each.

Depends.

Annnnd.. again, first and foremost ... put one in your hands.

"very nice photos from pierre, but i think it s not entirely due to the camera at all (but also/mainly due to pierrre and his skill)"

Agreed.

However, the potential is well documented and something to strive for ... where quality, composition, creativity, et al ... is concerned.

He does have other lenses, too.

Maybe PM Pierre for his opinion? If he is not too busy?
