Why do my C scores show in my caedes control but not on the pictures. I am referring in particular to my photograph titled Magnolia 2. It's not the only one, though.
If you manually remove an image from voting rather than letting it run till automatically removed by the system the votes will only show in the caedes control. Could that be it? Not sure if it's a feature of a glitch.
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
I did not remove the images. I've never done that. Half of them are still in the voting booth. Magnolia 2 had a score of 93. If I look in Caedes Control the score is still there, but if you pull up the image there is no score.
If an image has garnered an C-Index and is subsequently removed from the Voting Booth at some point by a member ... the score assigned will still place the image in the sorting.
'You' (speaking generally here) can check the above out 'yourselves', by going to your own galleries and sorting by C-Index, for example. (Same applies to the New Images Galleries.)
It may very well be a bug, Jen.
However, I inadvertently removed one of my own images from the Voting Booth while visiting/on this page:
For whatever reason, after posting this comment, my photos have been given scores. Now back to the magnolia 2 issue. The image is in my caedes control with a score of 93 and 9 favorites. If you pull up the image, you will find no score. Thanks for the attention to the first issue.
Images are not promoted based on c-index or favorites. If you like I can leave an honest critique on the image in question but you will have to be preparef to accept my criticism without getting upset or turning it into a debate.
I am not talking and never have been about the elevation of a photograph. All I did was ask why the score didn't appear when the photograph was viewed. It still doesn't appear. Maybe you could just fix that. Thanks.
