Hey!
You left me a comment stating that my picture should be a 1.33 ratio. I don't understand what this means......
You put some sizes, however, is there a way to make anysize photo or graphic a 1.33 ratio?? w/o changing it?

What I would do is to take a really large photo and then crop and/or resize it until it is the next smaller common screen resolution. eg. if I had a photo that was 1300x1100 I'd resize it to 1280x1024. Other common screen sizes are 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200.

I hope this helps.

The 1.33 is the normal aspect ratio of a motion picture screen in a movie theatre. Most of the new plasma TV screens have that ratio, so the awkward letterboxing of features on TV will become a thing of the past. This is also close to the ratio of computer monitors and, thus, our wallpaper sizes.

Interestingly, the proscenium arch of the stage, going all the way back to the ancient Greeks, is a 1.33 ratio. Perhaps this is because this proportion seems more natural to the eye than that of, say, a square or a proscenium screen that is on the vertical, rather than horizontal, axis.
