I see you use Maya. My son is currently on a visual effects course for films and he uses the same product, previously he used 3DS Max. You might want to look at his image here. Have left comments as requested.

Would agree with Chris'; aka coram9 comments posted on your image's pages, in general.

Been a steady and nice progression in your works posted and to date.

I particularly like that you are now getting down to working with, exploring and elaborating on the elements of lighting within frame. Which, I can imagine add tremendously to the rendering times.

And that your compositions have improved. Better balance and stronger, simply put.


What other image editing programs/software do you have?

/\ This.. asked to once again, and perhaps ... provide a leaping off point for some more tips, advice, et al.

I have/use Maya, 3DS Max, Unity, and Photoshop (i also use Flash but that is not very helpful for editing images :P).
