What one person or persons have enfluenced your work the most? Was it another artist, your parent, a movie that you saw, etc....

Erm...I mainly get ideas from other peoples' drawings and creations, so I suppose I could say that everyone is an inspiration to me!!! :)...and I guess Tom Felton comes into it somewhere, too :P....the inspiration for "Passion", that is... *wink*

Well, when I was a tiny tot I watched my dad paint and draw - that's what got me started. It didnt take much encouragement from him. I just went with it. My grandmother liked to paint and draw flowers and birds. And my mom did abstracts - so I had art all around me as I was growing up. As I got older, I'd say I was strongly enfluenced by Aubrey Beardsley and Erte'. I mostly did black and white pen work. Then I found the amazing world of computer art - I cant say that I am enfluenced by any one person or persons. But, now that I have my wacom tablet I have this feeling that some Beardsley style may come into my work again.

I only began painting three years ago, my little grand daughter and I were sitting at the kitchen table, she was painting so I thought I would try.and I thught "hm this isnt so bad at all" !! lol..so I went out and bought brushes and watercolour paints and paper...and it began there..but since then my photography inspires my paintings. I now do them on canvas..other people photos inspire me too...I ask permission and then I try it! Ideas can come from so many things, but for me mainly other photos and my own that i take...

I love your attitude! Quitting is never an option if you want to succeed.

Good morning
Don't think I could point a finger at any artist in any field and say "that person". Usually go off and just "do my thang", then listen and absorb ideas/thoughts from others and from what I see/read on what may improve my work. Has been the case with almost all creative forms of expression have become involved in; including my photography, which is now strongly influenced by the artists on Caedes, both their helpful critiques and by studying their work.
Enjoy your day

I don't think I could ever point at anything, anyone, it just comes when it comes. Alot of it is fooling with things and running with it when youve got a lead, but Id have to say just whatever is around me. Whenever I see something beautiful though, I cant help but think about the love of my life. Jenni, one of the greatest people Ive ever known, she loves art, loves music, shes always out there, trying new stuff. Shes a great inspiration to any of my work. I take after her, just try new stuff, get out there, dont be afraid to face the critics, theyve got somethin pinchin them anyways.

Can't think of anyone special. Just do what I need to do . I have to let it out. I have to create, one way or another. I use several different mediums, so what ever srtikes my fancy at the time.

There are several creative people in my family, both in music and art, so they probably influenced me to some degree, but I think we all have a creative urge within us...I've always been attracted to 'the turn of a phrase' which is why I like to write...nature and music also inspire...like Morwyn, there are times when I just 'have to do something creative'.:Pat.
