does anyone know of a place where i can find a picture of some planet collisions or comets colliding with planets? ive been trying to find more and i can't :_( thanks for your help

Check out the "Space' gallery -- all of those photos are from NASA, and most of the credits give more detailed information of the origins. Try this: http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/

something like that would be rather hard to come across.. in my opinion.. granted we have the hubble, but it cant monitor the entire galaxy.. something like that could be rendered in 3D, but i dont know if you would want to go that route.. personally, ive done an image with a meteor colliding with a planet (not uploaded on here).. so i guess its a matter personal preference.. hope this helps..

Well you won't be able to find any actual NASA images on the subject except for the Shoemaker-Levy 9 collisions with Jupiter. My website has some space art that shows collisions if you want something like that you can see an examle of a collision here
