I have a new laptop with a widescreen 1280 x 800 display, but the wallpapers from here get stretched and look deformed. Does anyone else have a widescreen display and what solutions can they offer?

My Macintosh laptop is a widescreen, too - 1280x854. When I make an image my desktop, I have a few options: Stretch to fill screen; fill screen; center; and tile. Only the "Stretch to fill screen" deforms the picture to fit. Fill screen does just that to make it fit, but if the aspect ratio is not the same some of the image gets cut off. Images I like a lot I'll take into photoshop and crop the image to exactly fit my screen. By the way, there's a free PC product I like, called Wallmaster, which gives you some options that the system doesn't - as well as displaying the images in various ways on your desktop.
