How can one vote in a poll where over half the selections are not necessary and in some cases demeaning? I mean, I agree with the one about getting rid of the "remove Cindy" suggestion, but it shouldn't have been necessary because the offending suggestion should not have been allowed to stay there to begin with. There are other suggestions there that negate the validity of the poll. When a thread gets overly confrontational it often gets sent to the graveyard. Isn't a large percentage of this poll confrontational? What's happened to showing each other some respect?
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

In view of recent events on a discussion board I just want it known for the record that it was not me who put that 'remove Cindy' on the poll so I do hope no one would jump to that conclusion...I would never do that and find it quite unacceptable.
I find the notion very offensive that everyone on the ac does nothing but vote for their friends.
I DON"T DO THAT!!!!!!!
Are we clear on that?
The deleted selection about Cindy was about as reprehensible as anything I've ever seen here, or anywhere else outside of middle school adolescent bullying. Which is what it was.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I don't vote for AC nominations because they are my friends images. I vote for the image based on it's artistic qualities and aesthetic appeal. If it is one of my friend's images, so be it, but most of the people here are my friends anyway. (I think).
