Well, I was thinking, once a week or month or so, someone would release a list of 2 to 10 items, these can be nouns, verbs, adjectives, anything. The task would be to capture the essence of each item on the list in a photograph. I was thinking it could be a different way to look at going out and taking shots. I know when I leave the house, I dont always know what (if) im going to come back with anything, and an excersize like this could make you look around in a more task oriented way. I suppose I could leave an example for you to ponder on, and add to if you like...
1. A Spool
2. A Peculiar Mailbox
3. A Place You Cant Go
4. Grey
5. Your Crutch
Or something like that. As I was thinking those up, I realized that I already had these ideas in my head, and what could be cool is to see what your idea of a place you cant go would be, or how you capture grey in a shot. I realize this could be taken as the semi-monthly contest on a faster pace, and I dont know if that would be such a bad idea. But I dont know if the images need to be voted on, or if only the highest ranking one is kept per item on the list.. that kind of thing would be up to caedes discretion, I suppose...
Just a thought I felt like mentioning. Please reply with your thoughts, everyone!
How about something like when we did Christmas day, only this time, have it be the first day of summer or just call it "Summer Solstice". It's June 21st, which gives all a time to think about what summer means to them.
Really like the idea, think it's a great kind of "Excersise". Would really like to see the idea get some momentum. It's fun thinking about how to describe a peculiar mailbox.
I think this is a fantastic idea....i, like others, do not always have a goal in mind......sometimes, I do not want one---it would be usefujl to have a chioce/category/ prompt by another who sets this idea up...Caedes guys could sell this, I think.
