Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. <Robert Frost> "Nothing Gold Can Stay"
we have thanksgiving in canada, but we celebrate it in october, which is really weird for me cuz i am from the states origionally and while my whole fam is celebrating today, my little fam here already did the whole turkey thing, hahaha, so it feels weird.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight! Proverbs 3:5-6

Ah, it's obviously not a holiday in the UK... Oh well.. Thanksgiving was the day (or so the tale goes) that the Pilgrims (the Puritans who moved to America oh-so-long-ago) and the Indians (Now known as "Native Americans") joined together to have a great big feast consisting mostly of turkey and other smaller dishes. It was from this tradition that was on the last Thursday of every November, that one day turned into the holiday we know as Thanksgiving!

MERRY THANKSGIVING!
