Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate it! (Is Thanksgiving only an American holiday?) Well, anyway, I hope everyone a great Thursday, in that case!

MERRY THANKSGIVING!

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. <Robert Frost> "Nothing Gold Can Stay"

Ah, it's obviously not a holiday in the UK... Oh well.. Thanksgiving was the day (or so the tale goes) that the Pilgrims (the Puritans who moved to America oh-so-long-ago) and the Indians (Now known as "Native Americans") joined together to have a great big feast consisting mostly of turkey and other smaller dishes. It was from this tradition that was on the last Thursday of every November, that one day turned into the holiday we know as Thanksgiving!

I had a feeling it was something like that.

Still, good excuse for a party.
