The cred system is very useful - especially for acknowledging comments made on images.
It's other use for endorsing discussion comments has led to some extreme use for less than genuine and in some cases downright mischievous reasons.
One example is the awarding of 17 creds by one person on one comment for the purpose of ridiculing it by an added post, and referencing the 'joke' in an unrelated discussion.
Would it be possible to have the number of creds per item per person limited to prevent such daft and disruptive behaviour ?
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The "joke" was like most rewards they are abused.round and round here we go again Creds = C-index.Thanks for pointin this out LynEve Now just like the "votes" members want to dictate how other members spend their "creds" i for one am here to have fun, when did fun become disruptive behaviour? come on "less than genuine and in some cases downright mischievous reasons" are you serious?
You will be banned from this site very soon, you idiot.......25 creds
Nobody here cares about your frigging car or you, get a life and post your stupid comments elsewhere..........23 creds
Glad you brought this up 48 creds burnt up ...25 letting me know im a moron, 23 letting me know I need to get a life and need to post my stupid comments elsewhere.
The more I think about it your right LynEve the site should ban behavior where users do stuff like you mentioned fun or not he needs to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand.
Members want to dictate how others spend their creds? No, some people just get totally brassed off at them not being used for what they were intended. You recently said "This is the coolest place to share art." Why don't you share some then, if you have any time left after discrediting genuine comments by ridiculing them with multiple creds, and shoving broken cars in rivers.
Why dont you just go and have some fun calibrating your flat panels or something.

I have NEVER used 48 creds for any one person. I use them one at a time, occassionally 2 if someone has helped me. Please do not assume you know everything, especially how I use my creds.
The only creds you know the origin of are those you receive yourself. Possibly 48 individuals credited the comments referring to you because they agreed with them.
