Can someone help me here?
I have some problem with the installation of firefox 1.0.3, it tells me that there is an error and it only tells me: error with - browser 5!
I can't uninstalle the old version either because it says that my uninstaller journal is missing!
I want to try this update because I did everything else to be able to see the animated icons here but it still doesn't work!

the 1.0.2 and the 1.0.3 are installed over the top of each other, if you uninstall either they will have problems, hopefully when you reinstall 1.0.2 evrything will work, under the old versions you had to uninstall, but it will not work with the new ones since 1.0.1, it appears everytime updates come out now they will just go on top, don't uninstall anything...

Hi, I hope this works for you. First of all, get a trial program called advanced uninstaller pro. You can delete ANY program using normal detion, or forced removal. Once you downloaded this program, install it, fire it up, and blow out your old mozilla firefox. Next, using this same program, clean and optimize your registry. Once this is done, reboot, then you should be able to make a fresh Firefox install with it's most recent software update. If you like this program, I would suggest buying it after the trial period ends. I use it almost exclusively now to clean my cache, registry, temp files, and to do uninstalls. I hope this helps you out.

I'm glad you were able to get the bug out. You may want to clean out your registry, the program I mentioned above does that safely. Also if you don't have it, I would suggest ad-aware, and avg anti virus to help protect against bugs. Finally, if you can defrag at least twice a month it will keep everything going smoothly. Tips for any of you, actually.

although the focus isn't uninstallation, ccleaner can fix alot of these type problems...and for free. It does the registry optimization thing too.
