I found this an interesting question; since we have access to a special search engine (to help with promoting images etc) I can answer your question very specifically:
The most viewed image on the site (according to the search engine: is "A New Star in the East" by nmsmith with 67,548 views;
Second is "Happy Holidays" by Yenom (clearly Christmas is a very popular theme for wallpapers) with 44,085;
Then:
Sunrise by heuers with 36,309 Silence's kingdom by ppigeon with 34,047 Oh, What a Night! by mrwarlow with 30,243 The Earth At Night by CrazyIvan with 28,168 Trick or Treat by WENPEDER with 27,268 myths and fables by TRACYJTZ with 25,617 Presents by jojomercury with 24,985 Walking with Orion by moodflow with 24,580
For an interesting comparison, try going to your own caedes control and sorting by "views"... how does your most viewed image compare to these?
Great question, John...glad you asked...and thanks to Sam for the answer...gave me reason to revisit some fabulous imagery I hadn't looked at in a long time...Walking with Orion by moodflow still one of my all-time favs.
I have never sorted my images by views before - interesting!
Interesting and enjoyable to view those listed above as well - with their amazing number of views.
My highest is 5796 and dates back to 2006. A mere tiddler by comparison. Observe that Main G images get more exposure - most of my higher viewed ones are but a couple of exceptions are the most pleasing.
I have saved A New Star In The East for Christmas - beautiful !
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Made me wonder just now, which pictures on the entire Caedes site are in the top ten 'highest' viewership?
