I do not report EVERYTHING I notice :) Yes, I had noticed this discussion page periodically diminishes. I assumed it was as each matter is dealt with - or that there is a time limit on each thread, before it drops down to the next page.
New subject - has anyone noticed a change in log-in procedure? Just recently each time I log in I first get a message telling me I must allow cookies from the site ( I already do) second attempt tells me my username or password is incorrect (it isn't) Always third time lucky.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I too am getting bad username and/or password periodically. I figured it was because I am SO distracted and scattered that I didn't know who I was ...after all, it has only been 8+ years! *sigh*
"Ok, I finally went through all the comments (300 or so in the pending queue) and banned all the spammers. I also made a change on the registration page that will make it more difficult to get new accounts. If you see any spam comments that are still on the site, please use the "complain" button to let me know about it (only use the button once per spam comment)."
I still almost always have to supply my password a second time to log in. I think my cookies are getting eaten by some mean cookie monster when my back is turned.

The shrinking pages are due to deleted spam messages I'm pretty sure. This has come up before I think. Basically the spam messages are still counted in the number of threads per page even though you can't see them.

Like this one here.
Only displays two topics on the first page and gets a lil' messed up afterwards as well on successive pages (i.e. 2 of 19 has no threads whatsoever).
... ...
Just thought I would mention it before Lyn did.
