Does anyone know of any decent programs for Macs that enable a Mac user to create fractals?

I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.

Sorry. I tried to show somebody Apophysis on a Mac and it rather died. If you scroll through the ever helpful list, I am sure you will find a few by process of elimination.

i don't fool with macs anymore, but i did google this up for you Morbid

Spangfract This freeware program is specifically for Macs. I have had many requests for info on Mac fractal programs and this is one I would recommend based upon the images I've seen from the author. This link will take you to the directory where the most current version will be posted. There is not much documentation yet (although there is now a "Read Me " file) so you will need to be intuitive using the program or e-mail the author with any questions.

I've found no really good native OS X fractal programs. There is Fractal Explorer (freeware) that you can run in classic though. KTP have some plugins that make frax flame fractals but those cost some bucks... I'm sure there are some really fancy ones out there but I've not been looking for it actively. Do a google to find out for sure... Here's something to begin with. <<Link>> On that page you can find many links to useful apps and some info on them.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

There is an Easy Fractal 3.1 Generate kaleidoscopic fractals in real time.
OS: Mac OS 8.x/OS 9.x/OS X
File Size: 2.09MB
License: Free to try, $20.00 to buy

I'm an avid Macintosh user, but haven't located any good fractal generation programs for Mac. I've played with this one a little, but ended up prefering the PC freeware I've found.
