Since building a new desktop computer, and upgrading from XP I've lost a much used photo editing programme. I use PhotoFiltre but it doesn't have subtle sharpening, warm/cold hue adjustment or light balancing [I've forgotten the correct term] These three options are valued, and missed by me.
To be honest I don't have the patience for Photoshop, or the Gimp, and photographic tricks are not a priority of mine.
Does anyone have suggestions? if so your comments would be gratefully received.
Thanks for your time Phil
Edit: Adaptive lighting was the term I was looking for.
Phil I use FastStone Image Viewer. it is free and has all that you ask for. I also still use picasa 3 sometimes but FastStone is my main editing programme.
I also use FastStone Image Viewer, it is fast and easy to learn. Like you I don't have the patience for Photoshop. Let me know how it works out for you. Gregg
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
