We see, from time to time, members who take the initiative to thank another for their help and encouragement. This has been seen in the form of dedications, comments on postings and the like. It's grand when it happens as a public 'thanks' and recognition which, in turn, feeds the Caedes engine even more.

With this in mind I thought that I would ask the question. You can ponder and respond or not as you see fit. Who on this site has helped YOU? This could be in the form of encouragement, constructive criticism, instructions ...by comment or PM. This can be the place to simply say "Thanks for taking the time to __________" ... "it really helped me out or really helped my confidence or encouraged me to keep trying". It doesn't need to be posting specific --- but I would encourage you to be PERSON specific.

Goodness, many have helped me and I'll be glad to share their names.

What a wonderful idea. I can start with you, Rob.. You are the one who sat on me to get my camera, and get going.. So, thank you Rob for all your help.. To June, who got me going on the fractals, and to Nathan who inspired me with the beauty of his.. To fotobob who has encouraged me from the very first, and has continued to be an inspiration.. To the anonymous person who gave me my membership when I was so broke.... To those who have helped me and asked not to be mentioned... To all the members of this wonderful site who have befriended me, when I needed it so badly.. Last of all to Caedes, for making this all possible

Nathan for being so wonderful to me, and fotobob for taking me to places I only dreamed of (see his slot canyon series), Vamoura and Morwyn for inspiring me to (attempt to) create my own fractals, to Regmar for taking me back to Louisianna (visited in 1997 and almost stayed for good), and too so many others who's name I may have forgotten, but who have shown me such amazing things that this planet has to offer...from Nature to Space, to Art to Fractals...and yes...to Caedes for giving us this site where we can all meet and take a vacation with our Caedes friends for a few minutes.

I too Have been helped by numerous caedes members. I have camerahound in mind, Nathan , Mario, Morwyn by her encouragements from the begining she has always supported me. That is something! *caedes always there on the site to help and solve problems as they come in!
Everyone who has encouraged me through the weeks by commenting my work. So the list could go on indefinitly here! Then I'll say Many thx to everyone who visited and commented my work and helped me getting better.

To all the people whose constant positivity to many is in itself an inspiration. To all the people on caedes who use forums to wisely guide everyone back to the essence of why this site works. To the younger people who freely share their new discoveries with such genuine excitement. To the older people who prove there's no end to learning new tricks. Finally to those who take risks and keep posting despite c-indexes, views and everything else, because they are brave enough to share! (and finally to anyone who has read to the end of this post!!!)

i dont think i could narrow it down to being specific.. i draw inspiration, knowledge, wisdom, praise, and most important, friendship from everyone on this wonderful site.. i cant begin to say thank you enough.. without the support and feedback i have gotten, i wouldnt be working now to put some of my work into print.. so i say to each and every single person who reads this comment, and the comments preceding and following..
