I'm Going to Tell you a little story about what happened to me Today; If I have already scared you enough, or you just don't want to read my junk - Please Turn away from your computer now.. BUT DONT CLOSE THE WINDOW :)
Today, I decieded I needed some photographs to put in my Gallery. I live on a farm with all kinds of animals so I have the potential to take some pretty 'different' photos to what you see in here normally.
I walked outside, wandering around a bit, then I looked down the driveway and I saw a little lamb (we don't own any sheep) so I started walking after it, taking photos. Meanwhile it was running around like a psycopath and jumping into fences .etc
I followed it around the farm a while, and it ran into the Horse paddock, they weren't to pleased at that. The horses started chasing it down, ramming into it and trying to step on it. (one of our horses is a Clydesdale, if you don't know thats one big horse!)
After a while the horses stopped trying to attack the innocent little fellow and went back to their own business. I was walking along the fenceline, and I heard a bird squark at me; naturally I thought it was a magpie swooping me and ducked. But when I was staring down I noticed that a babe magpie was caught on the barbed wire fencing - so I took a few photos and walked off.
j/k - I took a few photos and freed the bird, it took about 20 minutes it was that badly caught up, and the ground had a hole in it where the bird had been frantically throwing itself around trying to break out. I was able to hold the bird and undo him.
I was able to work out from the evidence I had, that the bird had been there for longer than 24 hours, and the string that was caught on its leg had dug into its leg creating ruts (IN SCALES!!!)
Once I had released it I walked back to the house, and tried to get a picture of a 'Free Willy' type scene, have my hand in the air, and the bird flying off. That would have been cool, but the bird couldn't fly, it fell.. then tried flying and got away
Those two events were pretty sweet, both the lamb and the bird were soo cute!
... Thats my little story as of yet, i'll keep you updated if anything else cool happens
