I have Photoshop and was curious what it was.....I clicked and a mass confusion came over me. I came here and looked at the computer galleries and was amazed. With new found confidence I have created some stuff with no help at all. Well, now I need help. I'm big into the space art. For example, Exploding Neb. Anyway, can someone explain to me how to use Photoshop and some tricks and tips?

I had a look in your Profile, but you had no gallery, so I have no idea what level you are at with Photoshop.

There are a few people who have posted for help on photoshop, But it is really had to tell people how to use as it is such a big program! You might try looking over a few of the previous posts, most probably labelled something like "Photoshop" or "Help, Photoshop"
The best advice I can give you without writing a major essay on photoshop is just to grab an image and use the filters on it; once you have played around with each filter a bit, try combining a few to get an effect. And finally, if you do something that ends up in Grayscale, or close to that (or just wish to play around with the colorings) goto the image>adjustments menu and play with those.

I have been using photoshop for about 3 years now, but only really got into playing around with it a year ago, I am still learning about it...
Feel free to take a look in my gallery, its a pure photoshop selection there.. only 2 of the images have had help from outside photoshop.
