Question about image approval

When I sign in, I sometimes have "Image Approval" photos. If I happen to look at subscription first, the "Image Approval" photos go away. What gives here? Could You explain? Thanks. ....susanlynn

As far as I can tell, 'Image Approval' is a way of ensuring new images comply to the site rules, by giving all members the facility to tick 'Yes' or 'Maybe Not'.
Otherwise, it would take an age for a moderator to do it and the reason it 'disappears', is that it is only active for an hour.

Open images at full resolution and take a few steps back...
I hardly thinks it takes an 'age' for a moderator to approve your images.
With that being said, I suspect that someone else has approved the images Susanlynn and they clear when you look at subscriptions first.
Also, all members are not able to tick image approval. The members are selected by *caedes and all images are still subject to approval by a moderator.
