Photo Database ?

Does anyone know of a photo database program that can record which DVDs your photos are on?

I found a couple that stored the photos in the database, which means the database would become bigger than the collection of photos very quickly. If I had that much disk space I wouldn’t need the software in the first place.

I would like to record the filename, date it was taken, title, description, location of the photo and a small thumbnail.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you can still use the one that you already found. Just save a small thumbnail of the image instead of the full size one.

How about Microsoft Access? Create your own:-)

PS- When you are finished can you teach me how or share;-)

Well, you don't really need Access. You can just use a normal Excel spreadsheet or other spreadsheet program.

Then you can just have Colums for Image Name, Date Taken, No of DVD it's stored on. Nothing complicated really and very easy to create yourself.

Well they are all valid suggestions, Thank you. If I can’t find a ready-made solution I will probably create one in Filemaker Pro. I have heard that Access can have trouble when graphics are involved.
