On March 26th I uploaded an image titled Pearl Harbor. It was approved and received comments. Now it has disappeared and all that can be seen is its title. It still exists because I can view it via my 'Subscriptions' but it is not accessible by any other means. Currently it can be seen on page 3 of The New Images Galleries: Photography as a blank space. I am wondering what the problem is with the image - has it been removed for any reason ?
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad." Miles Kington. So I'm sure you'll have both knowledge and wisdom enough to go over and see My Gallery.
Thank you Mimi and Steve. I can still see it only from my subscriptions link.
Mimi - what are you viewing on? I have no problems on my iPad and on my iphone but NOT on my pc - different browsers used are Edge, Firefox, Vivaldi, Chrome and none of them display the picture. There is no error message, no red X.
CLICK HERE to see what I see in my gallery. THIS is the view in New Images. Clicking on the blank space does nothing.
When I right click on the blank space and choose "Inspect Element" the image text does NOT appear in the formatting. Right clicking on images that are displaying have the image details included. THIS is what appears when I click on the image next to mine and ONLY THIS on mine.

Then in that case it is obviously a plot against those of us down under - those gremlins are at it again! How to explain the missing text though ?
I can also view it and also full size from the link in my subscriptions but not from my gallery or the new images gallery, as you will see from the links. Where are you accessing it from Bob ? Friends list?
It is definitely not a fault with my computer because I have tried on 3 machines - two pc's and a laptop !

Right, well that's is the answer Mimi. I opened up IE (version 11) and the image appears ! :)
There must be something in that one particular image that is not compatible with the other more up to date browsers. I have no idea what, I don't know enough about these things. Here is the difference in the formatting which clearly shows the image is missing in Firefox (and other browsers) and present in IE. Someone may be able to explain it.

Thanks John, I think its seems pretty certain it can only be viewed in Internet Explorer for some reason. The gremlins chose the one I put the most work into lol
