Thinking of getting some extra lenses...

I have a pretty average camera, a 3.2MP FinePix by Fuji. The quality is pretty good when I use it right, although I don't get to mess with shutter speeds, only set the exposure amount... anyway...

I'd like to get some lenses to use with it. Hopefully they would be compatible with another camera, should I decide to upgrade. I definitely want to do some macrophotagraphy at the very least.

So, do you all have any suggestions?

The only camera Fuji make that allows you to use non proprietary interchangeable lenses is the s3 pro. All other finepix models do not have removable lenses as far as I can remember so if you want to use different lenses you will be restricted to using Fuji's own adapters and lenses for their finepix range - you can get more information on the fujifilm websites...

Mine is an S3000. It came with an adapter ring, so I assumed it had some sort of compatability. I'll check the fujifilm website.

You can likely get a telephoto and wide angle extenders...possibly some close-ups as well that will fit your unit.
