I've searched the FAQ and, after being a member for over a month, I still can't figure out what happens when you click "Subscribe to this Discussion" on a picture's page. Be gentle with my feeble mind. I have my asbestos overcoat on just in case. =)

When you subscribe to a discussion - you are 'subscribing' to that discussion thread; so that when anyone else makes a comment on that thread (such as this one - as you started it - you are automatically 'subscribed' to it), you will be notified via your 'Subscriptions' heading listed below the word 'Jobs' in the left hand column - below your 'Control panel'. WHen you click on the subscriptions link - you will have a list of threads you are 'subscribed to, including comments people have made on your artwork. I hope this a) helps and b) makes sense.
