What do you guys use to make your desktop wallpapers, ive been using paint shop pro and that doesnt do much for me. I want to be able to create my own images. hard to do it free hand with those paint tools

For what it's worth, lots of the PhotoShop plug-ins will also work with PaintShopPro -- such as the KPT series, for example. Plug-ins will give you a lot more to work with in creating images, IMHO.
