I love Caedes.net art, and have been using it on my comp for years now. You guys are absolutely fantastic. I suppose this has already been brought up before, but I was wondering about art for 1440x900 resolutions? Is there any on the site? Are any of you planning on producing any? I know I would LOVE it!

There are only 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200 available but I also agree that there should be other sizes available, 1440x900 isn't available though.

whilst not strictly available - many members post images in letterbox format which if you set them as centered on your desktop background achieve pretty much the same thing...

If you have software such as Adobe Photoshop you may crop and resize them to that resolution. I agree about Widescreen photo's as well. I would like to see Resolutions higher than 1600x1200 also.

I agree with Chris aswell it would be nice to get few larger res. If you are looking for a cheaper program than Adobe Photoshop then HP Image Zone is really competetive it's features are good aswell, hopefully may save you some cash than the Adobe programs and it will do all photo sizes.

I recently got the same problem after my to upgrade to an iMac G5 (17 inch) from my stone age G4, but have settled for using 1600x1200 images and let my system "crop" it for me when I set the image as desktop. Works great for most images but is not that good if the focus of the composition and/or crucial elements of the image is towards the edges (mostly the top and bottom).

The images I like best myself are usually in the rule of third category of composition and I find that these usually tolerate sticking around on my 1440x900 screen. I don't generally like to alter the work of others even for my own use. I'm not even sure if there is a copyright issue with that sort of thing but it suddenly occurred to me that there might be something of that sort...

I must say though that I would love to have widescreen desktops here too... ^_^

I care!!! How dare anyone draw moustaches on my work! Whoever they are and if they have actually done it, you should be ashamed!!!
