I haven't been on in some time and when I logged in today, I noticed that four of my submissions had been pulled - I don't know why as they were more popular than some of the ones that remained. Two of them were reworks of existing pieces here (I had permission from the owners of the originals), and two were my graveyard angels. Any help would be appreciated.

depends how long you've been gone. Could have been removed in the trimming.

I couldn't give you a specific reason why some were removed and not others, but I will give some general info that may help: Firstly, remember that popularity does not dictate what is moved to the perms and what isn't, rather it is the artistic merit of the image in the eyes of the mods. Secondly, remember that older images in the "New" gallery will generally be deleted before more recent uploads, regardless of c-index etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks for replying Sam - they were all new images which I uploaded within the last three or four months - I actually thought they were better than some of my others, but maybe more common place - :)
