where do u guys get those cool icons???

Some people make their own, atcually I think a lot of people their own, some have their own faces on them, some have parts of their images in theirs or like me, I resized my favorites image of mine and made it an icon. I like yours though, it moves!

Well, you can use your own designs..or lookon the net for anythng..or use a photo...and then resize it to this small size...and have fun!! I cant figure out how they get the moving ones, have tried, but just cant do it! :(

My icons have all been self designed.....apart from my current one that is....being a shameless plug for a film.

I made mine using apophysis, irfan view, and paint.

Yes I tried making it with Apophysis but then it didn't look so good but I think its better than the last.

I scanned the king of clubs, and then sized it to 50X50.

mine is a wifi spray bottle that obviously enhances the connection if you spray it near your wireless connection.

I can't figure out how to make an image small enough to work as an icon. If I make it a JPEG file and 60X60 pixels, it still takes 11KB according to Photoshop image size, and it takes 68KB on disk according to the Finder. If I make it any smaller it gets super blurry, even if viewed at 0.5 inches. Can someone please help me?

Try Irfan View. Fast and simple. My icon is a jpeg, and is less than 5 KB.

Yea, IrfanView allows you to change the main colors and add text without removing any of the image except for what is behind the letters.

Cool, I didn't know that.
I used paint to make the letters, but then moved a lighter version of the image into the text's outline to get the effect.

I got mine from avatarity.com, it doesn't have that much but it doesn have a couple of things you might like.

In case you have nothing better to do, or you're stuck in bed with two broken legs, I'll bet you can't tell me how many different hamburgers I've uploaded (I don't have a clue). Also, IMHO: please, no smiley faces and no ANIMATED icons! They drive me nuts. You hear me, Andrew??
