Alright, both of you, cool it down. We all can be stupid and immature sometimes, and sometimes we can be extremely shocking to our comrades with our intellegence. Do us all a favor and get back on track of the subject. As for your question, Silver Fang, I also, believe the books are terrible, but I read them. The plot is good, the romance, ect... Just like Rhea was saying but the books are (in my opinion) over all badly written. I found that the way J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the trilogy was very unapealing and boring. Others may think differently, but's thats just my opinion.

Glad! They have alot of forums and they write letters to The Lord of The Rings producers and such. It's interesting, having The Hobbit as a film with real actors, would certainly be interesting.

Silmarillion would not only be very difficult to convert to visual format it does not flow in any way so therefore how could a series be developed?
