Beowulf ^10 Congratulations!! How long have you two been seeing each other before you popped the question?
Guess you should use the "Aqua Button" Wallpaper in the "Love" Contest Gallery...
( See my comments on that page and you will understand) ;c)
Best of luck Bro!
Congratulations, Matt! Just remember: no more dirty underwear on the floor or beer and popcorn in front of the TV. And be sure to leave the toilet seat DOWN!
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." Bertrand Russell
A bunch of little Beowulfs running around? <shudder> LOL!
Don't be in any hurry, but don't have kids so late in life that you have to put them through college with your pension. :c)
Beowulf- I just talked to a childhood friend and she has had 6 kids, +4 step-children, and she is now is looking to adopt another one.....or how about the lady I knew that the first two times was twins, and the third pregnancy was triplets.... 7 kids in just three pregnancies!
Two boys, that is enough for me. I only have two hands, so if they start acting up in public, Yoink, Yoink! Double wedgies for them... Hey, if they are going to embarrass me in public, I get to embarrass them. <Evil Laugh> ;c)
I guess I'm going to have to add you to my growing list of friends to get married. I'm very envious of you as this is probably a very happy time for you. Concerning the situation surrounding you meeting your lady: it looks like the afforism that no good deed goes unpunished has been proven wrong for once. ;-)
Actually, we haven't set an *exact* date. We are still trying to work out a financial plan to make sure we'll have some food on the table when we do get married. The marriage will, however, probably be in exactly 2 or 3 years from now.
Well, if you plan on a dozen kids, that better be one killer of a financial plan. LOL!
Going to set up a live video stream of the ceremony for us distant Caedes members to watch? ;c)
Congratulations Matt. I can only tell you few words of advise to keep a happy Marraige. And they are: Yes dear your right, What ever you say dear, I sorry I'm an idiot, and if she asked how does she look? you say wonderful every time.
But otherwise I wish you both all of the best in the world that there is to offer.
I wish you much love and happiness and if you choose to have children, may they be healthy, and respectful of their parents. Don't forget to take times to still be the two of you and do things sometimes out of love and not because of a birthday or anniversary. I hope someday soon I will be making my own announcement.
Congrats! I just got engaged on May 8th. Isn't it wonderful?! I'm so happy for you. Please keep us posted with your wedding planning updates, and any advice you have to offer would be great. Check out the "Engaged!!!" discussion board for some good advice people have alreadly so kindly offered. :) Two to three years should give you plenty of time. My fiance and I are thinking one year. You are right to set a budget, next you might want to think of a good locaton withi your budget. Don't be in a hurry to set a date even though everyone and their mother will be asking you. :) I wish you many blessing, and a wonderful future together. By the way, can you spare some details about your fiance and how you proposed to her? :)
God bless,
Matthew - cc_Beowulf
