Eragon is, by far, the best fantasy genre I am ever to read, it remains my favorite book, post here if your an Eragon fan. If not, go start your own thread for Eragon haters, cause we don't care! lol, No really, your opinions are always valued. :D
Yeah *high fives Alex* No Tarvos, actually, Christopher Paolini wrote the book when he was 15. He got it published in 2003, with lots of re-drafts and corrections, of course. :)
If the automobile had followed the same development as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year killing everyone inside.
Anyone a phsyced to see the movie as me? Go here to see the movie site! It comes out June 16th 2006. Theres the coolest intro bu Brom there too! The guy thats gonna play Brom's name is Jeremy Irons.^_^
AHH! I didn't even hear about a movie! WOW! My friend and I were just talking last week about how there really are some books that need to be made into a movie and Eragon was on our list. CrRaAzyy!
lol, Really Rakurai? It's supposed to be awsome! They've got some new, totally unexperienced british guy named Edward Speelers playing Eragon. Go here to my Eragon site to learn more! ^_^
So this thread is supposed to be for eragon fans only so since i don't like secluded groups i am going to post here even though i have never heard of it.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of falling cat? Does it hover above the ground in perpetual indecision?"
Given the average age of the people posting on this thread (until I came along) would it be fair to assume that this is a book for teenagers, or have I grasped the wrong end of the stick?
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." Bertrand Russell
Yup, he is!^_^ But, he actually started writing the book when he was 15, and he still, @ the age of 21, remains obsessed with his own book, lol, can you blame him? It's a great book!

Yeah the guy's a total genius. My English teacher read it and loved it, she also read and recommeds the Bartimaeus books (really good and really funny), but thats not for this thread.
I suppose, he actually graduated from highschool when he was 15. The book, actually never made it out until 2003 and the second one recently came out this past August.
never read it, but everyone here says its great, so I got the ebook and will check it out. Reading about it it seems Tolkein-esque, so I will probably enjoy it. Thanks for turning me on to it...I'll let you know when I'm done reading it.
Koolie! I'm glad we turned ya on to it akashastrega!!! It really is a great book, if you like Tolkien, you'll like this book too! Only 10 times better! lol Glad to help dear!
