A note on Freedom

Freedom is such a delicate subject, but I have been contemplating it, and wanted to write a few words about it, I would love to hear what people have to say on this. Lets make it as positive as possible..thank you all.......so here are my thoughts..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Freedom is such a priviledge.Freedom is free, it is without
charge.Its a priviledge. Free spirit is within all of us.It helps
us to feel good and be a bit happier. Free thinkers are people
who form opinions on the basis of reasoning independently
of authority. It's a most wonderful thing to know we, in this
world of strife, still have freedom of speech, freedom of
thought, freedom of want, we can still have a will of our own.
We can stand on one's rights. We can be our "own man or
woman"We are able to make choices freely, as long as there
is no harm done, and that goes by way of our own
conscience. We stand responsible for our own actions, stand
on our own feet. After all, that is a good thing. We get
strength from that.
But we also stand unchained. We are not forced into issues,
into actions, unless we decide to do so. So freedom is always
there beside us, as long as we choose to do so. And no one
can truly take that away from us. Altho we, at times, are
given "ultimatums" or "threats", but that is really the other
persons conscience I suppose. Of course, freedom can be
abused. It can be abused by abusers...or by takers..people
who really seem or act a bit "selfishly." We can each
demand from one another. But it serves no purpose. It only
brings hard feelings.
So, here we are...free spirits...to express things. We are at
times "requested" not to express, and we are given "rules."
So at that point we are forced to decide what we want to do.
So that is where we all stand............................
freedom is a slavery with restrictions that can be bypassed.
think about it..
at first, you're eager to grow up, you want your parents to stop telling you what to do.
then you're eager to get old, you want your boss to stop telling you what to do ;)
and then, your life goes by, and the only thing that had been free the whole time was your common sense - it had been wandering around, without consulting you first ;)
only software can be literally free :)
all of us are merely slaves of our lives. unfortunately, some tend to bypass that restriction as well :(
live.. and let live :)
Freedom is not given, but earned. Hard work is just the first step to the ones self indepedence.
Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.
Freedom is I believe deep within ones self already and it is only by learning how to make ones self free we truely attain independance from the confinds and constrictions from opinion. Amen.
Freedom has to have some constrictions, some personal moral constrictions, in other words laws to live by. Other wise all you have is chaos and confusion. In my opinion, when a country comes to the point where it has no moral constrictions, all you have is a big land mass where lawyers and any kind of opinions from any kind of nut can bring a country to it's knees with endless litigation and 24 hour news channels that go on forever dragging our national spirit down to the pits. Please let's keep some moral constrictions. Dwight.
Morals are put in place by people to judge others and make individuals feel higher by arrogantly & ignorantly thinking they are better in some way (my opinion not word).(This is how I see it so simply): If you are deep down good then it shows and if your bad life takes whatever it chooses to re-balance the situation. What goes around comes around. Karma
