Anywhere but here...hmm...
Hawaiians will win the Sovreignty (spelling?) Act and become their own Nation again. Then I will move back home to my beloved Hawaiian Islands, teach my kids traditional Hawaiian dances, foods, etc. If that doesn't happen, then I think I would very much like to live in Italy. Either way, it would have to be by the sea. I love the ocean.

Iceland.

6 Months of darkness and 6 months of 24 hour daylight. Geothermal, it is the only place in the world the Mid Atlantic Ridge appears above land. Active geology therefore. Fine women. Extreme fun of all sorts. Out of the way of any conflict. Oh and beautifull in every way.

Scotland.

I've always wanted to go to the U.K. I'am fascinated by its rich history, even
though some parts have been bad. I hear that it is a beautiful country especially
when the sun comes out. I love the mountains, lakes, rivers, plains... I think
the people who live there are very lucky. I hope that someday my dreams will
come true. :)

My Parents are following Prism's idea and selling up next year to go to New Zealand, this is when I may change my locaton as I live close to them @ the minute.

New Zealand is beautiful (at least from what a dear friend says about her homeland) and would be in a top 5 list. I saw the most AMAZING sunset in Arizona (so I'd become Canadian just to say I'd live in Arizona). I have many friends from Canada and they all talk about lush nature, clean cities...sounds nice too. But Hawaii will always be my first choice.

I could cheat and move to NZ since it is really just a state of Australia anyway *ducks to avoid flung sheep dung* But seriously, I have always wanted to visit the Galapagos Islands. Not sure if it would be practical, but living in a wildlife sanctuary like that would be a dream come true for me.

Hmm, ... good one ... methinks, Italy is definitely up there amongst personal choices.

The why ...

A number of reasons, the architecture and art, just viewed some amazing photos posted on here, and was reminded as to why their artists are referred to as masters. Food. Ahh, the food ... simple and rustic, please. I will be misogynistic and human, too, in my mind, to include this as a factor in my choice ... the women. The apparent cultural importance of family and friends, a value that I share, deeply, I might add.

And I would love to have the Colliseum all to myself, with Lili Haydn playing to me ... just me.

For sheer cultural shock, maybe? ... Russia. Yeah, I'd give Iceland a go ... or Norway, Greenland. Bora Bora. The Greek Isles ... the water, ohhh, the water.

I am quite fortunate to live in Canada already (shameless plug coming up) and what we, here in the central provinces, refer to as 'up north,' has all the pristeen water and air and flora and fauna to keep one enamoured with and reminded of the beautiful creation(s) that are scattered across this great big, blue planet of ours :) .

In Parts of Greece you can open your eyes under water. NW Coast of Corfu is a place called Paleokonstricta. Water so clear and cliff jumping so high. Surrounded with high granit walls to each bay and there are lots, these hillsides are covered in Pines so the smell is wonderfull aswell. I would retire to Greece, they deff are not living the rat race. I have been to Greece about 14 times, One of these was to Athens and the Gulf of Corinth. The rest was Island hopping.

I think I would like to live in Chile right next to the Ocean and own my own little beach house, the weather there is 70 degrees F ( around 21 celsius) all year around there are natural hot springs and cool animals. Plus, their national sport is soccer/football, which is my favorite to play.

Why Germany? I have been to Studtgart and its fantastic. They have a club under the Airport. This is where a DJ called Paul Van Dyke has his residency. Also I have been to Heilbron which was a great time. It is so clean over there. The graffiti in the subways and underpasses is amazing as they are allowed to do it in these places.

I think it's time for me to show my Proudly South African side. I would stay right here. The country has some of the friendliest people anywhere in the world, has the most amazing places to visit, and where else can you find such diverse culturals and 11 national languages?

Sure, it has it's problems but in the end the good beats the bad handsdown.

My only consideration would be a place where you can get cheap, affordable broadband internet connections... then I would be on Caedes 24/7

From what I see the amount of food you guys produce I would be in heaven @ one of these all you can eat for $5.00 places. Its a bit more expensive over here Alex for everything and we dont get as much as you guys do for our money.

In regards to drink I refer to Alcohol, this is nothing for me to be ashamed of but we can drink from 18??? Or 16 as it was for me. I have a tollerance and a night out for me @ US prices for a year would prob give me liver failure.

I don't think 300.000 000 is that many is that many in a world that is reaching 8 000 000 000 do you. Beside we have a lot of oil in undisclosed oil fields, plus 300 years worth in shale and sand oil deposits. Oh which by the way would be under forty dollars American to per barrel to extract rather then pay what the Arab nations want.
I think the USA is just waiting for the rest of the world run out so that we can set the price at whatever we want. You know get the world by the b+++s.

Getting back to the subject I have thought about Canada also. It's right accross the border and I can still visit friends and family.
