I discovered this web site back in 2001 and am looking for a paticular author(s). I downloaded two pics back then and am wondering if they are still around. The pics names may have changed or even been removed. Any help would be appriciated. The two pics were named - 1) death.jpg (looks like a blue sunburst) and - 2) decent.jpg (looks like red plasma), both look like they are from space but are not real space pics. I've searched this site for two hours or so and have found no trace of them. If anyone remembers these pics please drop me a line. Just send me a personal message as I would like to keep my email private at this time. I am almost sure I downloaded them from this site as I was able to get them in several differant sizes. Again, any help would sure be appriciated!

They ring a vague bell but I don't think they're aroud anymore. I presume you've tried an image search. BTW I think you probably mean "Descent" rather than "Decent".

Thanks for your replies. The link for Caedes.net that I added to my favorites is dated 02/06/01. I tried the image search to no avail. Also that is the name the image was saved as, "Decent". When posting my original message, I did a rename, copy, canceled rename to imbed the name of the picture into my post. Some of the images I downloaded back then are still on this site. They were saved as the name w/size attached at the end. Thus Decent was named as decent, decent_1024, and decent_1152. Three different sizes. I would again like to thank you for your help in all matters, and if you do come across the author, or the authors name in your archives from the past, please let me know. I will hope that Caedes has archives from days gone by. I'm a data nut and have just about everything I ever saved from even in my Amiga years. LOL.

I did some digging. The images can still be found on cognitivedistortion, here (death) and here (decent). Those images are defintely blasts from the past... :)

Thanks for the help. I checked them out and, yes, they were the pics I was looking for. The links to the graphic site help me out as to having another resourse. My plan was to ask the author for permission to use them on a non-profit organization website I host. I decided on going another route and have added Caedes member Aeires's picture to the site. I will however be looking for other pics for more table backgrounds, and I still may use either one of pics if permission is granted.
