Has anyone ever had a book idea, began to write a book and gave up or wrote a book and your manuscript was sent back? or have you ever had a book published? Please write down something that you have written, like a synopsis on the book idea you had or have.
Yes, I started writing a book called "Merlin's Daughter" Then it got boring so I just stopped writing it. hmmm maybe I should start it
up again! yay! Danke for reminding me! ;D
I'm writing a love story based on a true story that takes place in a historical ghost town...Ive gone to that town in Montana often, taken picture, written poetry..so the story is of the woman who lives in one of the tiny houses in that gold mining town..in the mid 1800's..she falls in love with a photographer(of course! lol) etc etc..but you see, she is telling the story and is standing at the edge of that ghost town with two things in her pocket...a love letter from him and an old pocket watch he gave her...he disappeared years ago and the town no longer has people living in it. She has returned to it to "think" and "meditate" and "wish"..............so we will see what happens. This is wahts called "Historical Fiction"....I've had poetry published, so Im hoping I can finish this book one day...maybe I'll work on it next week when I will be at the ocean for five days..ahhhhh yes
*sighs* I have many ideas to write books, but they either slip my mind befor i get to paper, or i'll start writting, and then after 2 or 3 pages, it gets boring or i totally loose all intrest. (very short attention span here)^_^
All things Bright and Beautiful;
All things Big and Small;
All things Wise and Wondeful;
The Good Lord made them all!
"Lotessa valla mela quanta le"
May God's love fill you
I have had two books written as well as been published in journals. I wrote on the effects of incarceration of the parent and child bond, Kids Who Kill their parents, and Domestic Violence article, and book reviews in The Therapist Magazine. I also wrote an erotic story that got published once. There are about three others that I want to write on but have only started bits on.
'I firmly believe that there is a worthy book that resides in all of us.'
Maybe we are not the ones to put the words to the tales or thoughts, but, nonetheless ... whether it is a novella, a short story or epic ... our experiences and inner dialogues and ideas would make for interesting reading ... in my 'book.'
In fact, my first line here is how I have thought and would open my particular tome.
