Is it worth upgrading? I currently have version 8. A couple of things would make it worth it for me -- the ability to use the eyedropper and have it automatically be the current paintbrush color, rather than having to add it to the swatches like you do in 8 (it's really annoying), and more plugin effects. I used to have Kai's Power Tools 5 or 6, but I lost the CD a long time ago.

Well upgrades are usually better 99.9% of the time and if think it is better, I'd say go for it.

I downloaded the trial. It does remember what color you pick with the dropper. I wish there was a way I could just upgrade without paying full price, though. It's about $100, which I don't have at the moment.

I really liked MOST of PSP 7 and now I haVe 9 but some of the things have changed on there, that I'm not so happy about. But I think that if I had to do it again, I would keep 7....but PSP is worth the money! I also have Photoshop now, and I seem to go between both of them a lot to get the exact changes I want. I imagine 9 is probably best...I just have to learn it.
