Finding specific authors

A few people have asked me how they can find a specific author to PM them, view their gallery etc. For those who aren't aware, there is a simple way to do this as long as you know the full and correct username. Just go to your own profile page (or any members profile page for that matter) and in the address bar replace the current name with the name of the member you are looking for. For example, if I went to my own profile page, http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Profile&username=Samatar, I could simply replace my name with BJB to go to her profile page instead (http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Profile&username=BJB). You can use this proccess to go to any members profile page, and from there PM them or view their gallery etc.

Another way which is very similar but something you can remember in your head is as follows. If you want to go take a look at my gallery (because it is the best of course;)) you can type, http://milo_anderson.caedes.net and that will take you there. That should work with any username. This takes you to the gallery as apposed to the profile, so pms arn't as quick maybe, but its another commonly unknown secret i would think.

Also, if you just happen to have part of their name, or the name of a piece of their work, you can do a search with the Wallpaper Search link, and navigate from there (click on their name)

People who vote zero's should have their artwork replaced with blurry pictures of homework for everyone else to vote on. 8)
