Someone has emailed me a request to use one of my images on a website they are building. I don't really want them to use my pic but am not sure what I should say!! I don't want to be rude.

You could say, I'm sorry but I would rather that you don't use my image, thank you. And after you click send, you block them and you'll feel better.

Let them know you appreciate them asking permision (after all alot of people don't) but just say that you'd rather they didn't use it if that's OK, and give them the reason why (assuming you have one). Personally I prefer to allow people to use my images if they ask, but in return I ask that they give me clear credit for my work and a link to my site from theirs. Maybe you could give them permission but ask for something similar (eg a link to your gallery) in return? Depends on what you want though.
